Here are a few great summer events in Chicago to enjoy in the upcoming months!
Adler After Dark
Open since 1930, the Adler Planetarium is one of Chicago’s most renowned museums. The Adler offers exhibits and shows that entertain and educate at the same time. One of the most popular events held at the museum, Adler After Dark, takes place every summer. This adult-only event not only gives visitors unlimited access to the museum, but it also provides one of the most incredible views of the famed Chicago skyline and the spectacular celestial sights from the Doane Observatory.
Chicago Botanic Garden Concert Series
Established as a living museum over 40 years ago, the Chicago Botanic Garden includes 27 idyllic gardens sprawled across 385 acres. While many visitors explore the gardens during the day, there are also fun activities most evenings throughout the summer. Lively events such as Music on the Esplanade and Carillon Concerts include live music and great food and drink.
Millennium Park Summer Film Series
Chicago is fortunate to have numerous urban parks that can be enjoyed by residents and visitors all summer long. Spread over 25 acres, Millennium Park is the perfect spot to take in the beautifully landscaped grounds as well as some of Chicago’s most iconic sights including “The Bean” and the Jay Pritzker Pavilion.
