According to Jackie Chan, “Coffee is a language in itself”. And you’ll be glad to know that the Chicago Loop speaks that language, quite well. We know that Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts loyalists will never deviate. But for those of you near 215 West Apartments that need a coffeehouse to call home, check these out.
This popular Cuban spot has locations on East Congress, North Wells, and coming soon on E. Chestnut. They have the best in Cuban coffee, salads, and pressed sandwiches. If you prefer American coffee and cappuccino, they’ve got you covered too. The atmosphere is perfect to work on that upcoming proposal or have a bite with friends.
If you love coffee and enjoy supporting the local economy, this place might work for you. The coffee is locally roasted by Headstash and sandwiches are locally sourced. They’re popular for their pour-over coffee and lattes. One recent review said “I drink Lattes everyday and I seek out the best in each town we travel to ….you will not be sorry …..it’s the bomb latte”.
You might have overlooked this one during your travels, since it’s located inside the Virgin Hotel. It’s a coffee bar by day and a wine bar in the evening. It opens at 6 AM which gives you time to have one of their delicious cappuccinos before work. The atmosphere is modern and funky. If you’re interested in their wine bar, it also includes a light menu of cheeses and charcuterie.
If you’re looking for an apartment home in the Loop, look no further than 215 West Apartments. We’re just minutes away from shopping, dining, the theatre, and work. Contact us today to schedule a tour.Back to all posts
