It’s located inside Millennium Park and welcomes skaters daily through March 4th. Admission is free, but it’s important to note there is a charge for skate rentals.

Maggie Daley Park Ice Ribbon

The Maggie Daley Park Ice Ribbon is where guests can experience “alpine in the city.” It is different than most civic ice rinks as it’s integrated into the landscape, and the Chicago Park District boasts that it can hold up to 700 skaters. The fun lasts through the first week of March, and concessions stand serves hot chocolate and delicious treats.

McFetridge Sports Center

The McFetridge Sports Center features an NHL-sized rink where guests can enjoy both ice skating and adult hockey leagues. It offers a family-friendly atmosphere, and open skate sessions are held Fridays through Sundays. Admission is $5, plus the cost of skate rental (if necessary).

Morgan Park Sports Center

Operated by the Chicago Park District, the Morgan Park Sports Center is home to a state-of-the-art NHL-sized rink and a friendly staff. It offers learn-to-skate programs, hockey leagues, and open skate times throughout the week. The adult sessions welcome those who are eighteen and over, and the cost is just $3 for seventy-five minutes.
